Stinkahbell - Losing Tracks EP

Dubstep Duo STINKAHBELL drop their latest ep “losing tracks” on Marco Del Horno’s Bullet Train Imprint. The guys drop 5 tracks showing their versitility and full range of productions skills. From the 4x4 club monster ‘over reactor’ to the chilled ‘Losing Tracks’ to the monster ‘Soothing it down’ .. Stinkahbell are paving the way for the new sound of Dubstep for 2012 On the EP, Marco said ‘ I was in the studio with the guys and they were playing me all this unreleased stuff and I couldn’t believe how strong it all was. There was like 20+ records there which were all ready for release. When we picked the tracks for the EP it was important that each one had is own identity

SAS ft Chipmunk & Cire - Ready

The saying “Good things come in threes” seems to be literally applied to trailblazing SAS who has recently found themselves teaming up with chart heavy weight Chipmunk and Cire (Formally known as Eric B) to produce their new anthem ‘Ready’. The north London based stars created ‘Ready’ with producer SX who has previously worked with Wretch 32, Chipmunk and Skepta.

Supported by Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood, Radio 1 Xtra’s Ace and Vis and Kiss FM’s Manny Norte, SAS released their mixtape ‘Galaxy Fly’ last year early November which helped them reach a wider audience after featuring artists from all over the world including Chiddy Of Chiddy Bang, Cam’ron of Dip’set, MI, and Corte Ellis (a singer/songwriter whom has written songs for the likes of Britney Spears and Beyoncé.).

SAS have also been co-sign by Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross and Busta Rhymes and after being played on Hot 97 in the states it helped them to develop their affiliation with US artists, they soon went on to opening up shows for Kanye West and Juelz Santana.

With Chipmunk displaying his ‘transition’ after the release of his top ten softmore album and Cire who wrote Chris Brown’s contribution to Chipmunk’s number two single ‘Champion’ as well as writing for JLS, it was only right that they teamed up with the ‘never seen, occasionally mentioned and internationally known’ SAS.
SAS are ‘Ready’ to leave their stamp on the UK music scene.

Vybz Kartel Charged With Murder

The Jamaican dancehall artist Vybz Kartel was charged with "murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm" by Jamaica's Major Investigation Taskforce (MIT) last night, according to a Billboard report. Kartel is one of a group of men that police allege murdered the businessman and promoter Barrington 'Bossie' Burton in Portmore, a suburb of Kingston, Jamaica on July 11.
Kartel was arrested on September 30-- and also charged with marijuana possession-- and detained throughout the weekend. He will appear in a Kingston court today. Despite several prior arrests, this his first criminal charge. Read more at Billboard, here.

Pushing the genre boundaries of dubstep into bold new territory, ‘Good Love’ has already become an underground hit after continued support courtesy of MistaJam, Trevor Nelson & Target at 1Xtra/Radio 1. MistaJam has selected the track to be his Jam Hot Record of the Week to kick-start Dubstep Week.
Propelled by an intensely heavy bass line, ‘Good Love’ builds to anthemic status with the addition of an infectious hook courtesy of the Birmingham-born, Australian-based vocalist Amy Pearson who has previously worked with the likes of Klaus Derendorf and Tom Nichols.
DEVolution is a natural progression for Pete Devereux, whose work with Artful Dodger helped to define the UK garage scene as a major mainstream genre. As one-half of Artful Dodger, Devereux scored five Top 10 hits (including ‘Re-Rewind’ and ‘Movin’ Too Fast’), an Ivor Novello award and helped to launch the career of Craig David. Collectively, the duo sold over 1.5 million singles and 500,000 copies of their debut album ‘It’s All About The Stragglers’.
Joining Devereux in DEVolution is fellow Southampton-based producer Tom Devos. Devos was one of the first artists to be signed to Steve Angello’s Size Records and recorded an album with Angello and his future Swedish House Mafia collaborator Sebastian Ingrosso. Devos also worked under the name The Dawn who produced the cult downtempo hit ‘Wonderful’ for Onephatdeepa.

Baby Blue - Play

London songwriter and rapper Baby Blue, whose name came about from sporting everything from clothing to contact lenses in the colour baby blue, has tastes that fuse the influences of Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B and Pop, to create a unique sound with crossover potential.

UK Superstar Estelle picked up on Blue’s talents from day one and flew her to New York to record tracks on her debut album “The 18th Day” including the “Hey Girl” track which featured Grammy award winner John Legend. NYC inspired Baby Blue to release her first mixtape, “Out of the Blue Vol 1”, which blew up in the UK underground and featured members of So Solid Crew, Shystie, Sway, and Akala.

She toured with Estelle for 4 months, taking in dates in the US and Europe where she gained experience and developed her skills as a songwriter. Later that year Blue worked with British legends Madness on their comeback single 'Sorry'.
